   With hunts offered with bases from Caniapiscau in the middle of the province and timbered areas to the open northern tundra out of Fort Chimo/Kuujjuaq, our outfitter can cover the migration of this majestic animal to the fullest.  This is an awesome trophy to pursure with gun or archery equipment.  A definite challenge for the bowhunter but it can be done.  This hunt will enable you to take two (2) of these great animals.  In the lower timber areas, there is also a chance of black bear.  Starting point is Montreal where your package price includes airfare into float plane base and then into your tundra camp.  Excellent fishing can also be had when you are not chasing caribou.  Several packages are available between $3495 - $6695 plus licenses.  Call for details on the package that serves you best.  Also ask about group discounts and father/son discounts.

Newfoundland

   The wooded terrain of Newfoundland is excellent habitat for this species of caribou.  It also provides cover for the bowhunter to get close enough for a clean shot.  The Northern peninsula of Newfoundland holds excellent caribou along with great moose populations.  If looking for an opportunity at the Woodland Caribou, this is it.  You may choose either a seven (7) day or ten (10) day hunt.  Camps are wooden structures that are warm and dry...a nice thing in this naturally wet environment.  Lodging, meals, hot showers, guides and satellite phones are included in this hunt.  7-day hunt, $4000.  10-day hunt, $4700.  Licenses are included in these rates!   Ask about our combination moose/caribou seven or ten day hunt.
