Your adventure to Ireland is awaiting.  With over 65,000 acres of hunting ground our big and small game in 100% free range.  This hunt has red deer, sitka deer, fallow deer and Irish wild goat available.  Bird shooting consists of woodcock and snipe.  If you would like to add a fishing adventure, salmon, pike, brown trout and sea trout all available to wet your lines.

Situated on the west coast of Ireland, our grounds consist of pine forestry, moors, mountains and lakes.  Some of the most beautiful landscape in all of Europe.  The green, white and gold can be seen across the landscape.

The forests we have selected are known to be located in one of the best places in Ireland for red deer hunting at rutting time (usually between 20 September and 20 October each year).  It should also be noted that in Ireland, the hunter is given the opportunity to obtain very beautiful trophies that have absolutely nothing to envy to the trophies regularly collected in Eastern Europe; and that the hunting pressure on our territory is minimal because only four or five animals will be taken each year during the hunting period which runs from September 1 -  January 31.

– Hunting period: September to January.

– Length of stay: we suggest that you hunt three to five days to optimize your chances of success.– Accommodation in Ballycroy by the sea and in a tastefully renovated hunting lodge with all the necessary comforts.

Because this country is also a hotspot – although still unknown, but perhaps not for long! – the hunting of red deer and Sika deer, which inhabit the territories mainly in the west of Ireland. The red deer has thrived in Ireland since the species arrived on the island after the last ice age and so it can be said that they are as Irish as the people of the island; but it should be added that the English also introduced these animals to Ireland in the nineteenth century and that from this period dates the presence of the deer in large numbers in this country more traditionally known for the hunting of woodcock and snipe.

In Ireland, hunting is almost always sporty because it is practiced in sometimes difficult territories; and one must, if one wishes to hunt there, be prepared to walk on uneven and soggy ground, to meet the game. However, the difficulty of navigating the legendary Irish bogs should not be exaggerated, but a good physical condition will still be necessary to hunt woodcock and snipe in the west of Ireland.  The hunting territory that we have been managing for 30 years is very large (15,000 hectares) and the woodcock and snipe hunting areas it offers are very numerous. However, it is not desirable to exert strong hunting pressure on an area, so as not to eliminate or displace the game that shelters there; And so we will never hunt the same area twice during a stay.  In addition, we will try to hunt snipe and woodcock alternately, favouring the search for one or the other depending on the season... and the wishes of hunters. So, after walking the "bogs" in search of the snipe, you can then go woodcock hunting near the "covers" in the rhododendron massifs, in the large forests and small woods, or near Mullranny.  A guide will accompany you throughout your stay and you will hunt the snipe in front of you (with pointing dogs) and the woodcock with dogs (springer spaniels) making the birds fly, as is the custom in Ireland. We will also organize several trips (for groups of two to three hunters maximum) dedicated to woodcock hunting with pointing dogs.

It is vast and includes 15,000 hectares of forests which, it should be noted, we hardly ever hunt because they do not lend themselves well to woodcock hunting with springer spaniels as practiced by the Irish; And these forests are the perfect territory for pointing hunting, – they are easily accessible, are crisscrossed with alleys and are studded with clearings where your dogs can exercise their talents.
